The boat has been in for a few weeks now, and after some carburetor work and adjustments, she's fishing and catching her share fish out of Sandy Creek Harbor. The brown trout fishing ended early this spring with the warm fair weather patterns that set up in mid April, and the fishing program since has been one targeting lake trout deep, and salmon up higher. Last weekend we stuck to that program, and boated a number of lake trout and the first king of the year. This past weekend was a similar program, however we got into the first steelhead of the season with some brightly color spoons mixed into our king program.
Capt. Chris has been fishing the big lake since he was 4 years old. He loves to share his stories, and experience to help others catch more fish on their own.
