A few bonus things I found at the show that I couldn't resist was the new "Abyss" Fly from A-tom-ic. They forgot to put those on the table first thing, and I quickly grabbed 2 for this season when they brought them out. I got 2 "Green Sparkler" Spin Drs from Great Lakes Tackle, as well as 5 other color patterns. I think I'm going to be pulling that Abyss fly behind that flasher. It just looks like it will catch big kings. Another great show find was from the Bob Fuller Spoons table. I discovered some "Goby" patterned spoons at the bottom of the display, and quickly snagged 3 of those. They will be put into action for brown trout on the very first trip of the season, Arpil 6th. Another awesome show deal was the 1000' spool of Blood Run copper. Not only did I need it, but I've also got extra to replace the copper on my 200' and 300' coppers.
I'll try to get some pictures of these posted up here to share with all.
It's going to be a long 6 weeks counting the days till we're fishing. It's a good thing I've got plenty of prep work to do between now and then to keep my mind occupied.
If you're interested in a fishing charter, either for April, or for any date this year, get in touch with me, we are already filling dates for each month of the seson.
