A lot of guys got out fishing in smaller boats this past weekend and the fishing was very good from the reports I've gotten. Nothing surprising, fish being caught on the usual stuff in 5-10 feet water.
We're almost done with boat upgrades and hopefully we'll be in the water April 1st for a sea trial. The only hold up is waiting for the docks to go in at the launch. I'll be putting in a new starter on the main engine tomarrow evening, and giving it a quick test. Then the new sonar goes in. After that.. get it out of the barn, dusted off, scrubbed up, engine tested and put all the electronics and equipement back on it and she'll be ready for splash down. Can't wait.
I've had some interested in charters for April, so email me or call me 585-233-9163 if you're interested in booking a trip for spring browns. It's a great family opportunity as we can do a 4 hour trip, and the fishing is usually good keeping the kids busy, and most of the fish are in the 2-5lb range, which is a great battle to a 10 year old boy or girl.
See you on the lake!!
